Our school is part of the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong and is dedicated to the pursuit of truth, upholding justice, practicing love, cherishing life, and reinforcing family values. We aim to educate students to become contributing members of society.
In terms of moral and spiritual education, the school promotes this primarily through ethics and religious classes, religious ceremonies, assemblies, morning meetings, morning prayers, and various cultivation programs. Other religious activities also include faith groups, worship prayers, health-focused charity banquets, religious week activities, and annual events such as "Maryknoll Day" and the Christmas card exchange and caroling activities in December. The teaching team guides students in organizing these events, encouraging them to apply what they learn in their daily lives, helping them cultivate wisdom, develop character, seek truth, affirm values, and deepen their life experiences.
Every year, the school actively participates in the "Caritas Charity Sale" organized by Caritas Hong Kong and conducts visits to local community centers for the elderly, allowing students to practice charity by caring for and serving others. Our school regularly invites Father Ignatius Lo from the Catholic Workers' Church and Father Pierre Devos Joseph from the Angelic Mass Center to preach on campus, providing spiritual nourishment for the students.
To enhance students' exposure to and understanding of the Catholic faith and the Church, the school also invites the Diocesan Youth Commission to conduct the "I Am the Lord's Sheep" program and lead students in pilgrimage activities. The school's faith group promotes Catholic teachings through weekly lunch gatherings, where students can engage in scripture reading, games, and sharing, helping them embrace the righteousness of God and cultivate the five core Catholic values: charity, justice, truth, family, and life.
