Group Learning for Both Excellence and Support
Our junior secondary core subjects utilize a group teaching approach. The teaching team organizes students based on their learning abilities to provide more suitable teaching content and interactive learning opportunities. By reducing the student-to-teacher ratio, we believe we can offer students a more spacious learning environment that caters to diverse learning needs.
Additionally, we offer after-school tutoring sessions and weekend advanced classes. The after-school tutoring sessions help students build a solid foundation, aiding their classroom learning, while the weekend advanced classes provide students the opportunity to further explore and excel in subjects where they perform well, thereby enhancing their academic levels and preparing them well for the Diploma of Secondary Education Examination.
To assist students in achieving good grades and boosting their learning confidence, our teaching team designs lesson plans and assessment methods based on curriculum goals and exam requirements. This ensures that students can meet their expected learning objectives, which in the long run enhances their learning outcomes and academic performance.
Moreover, when setting student assessment papers, the school adopts the principle of "easy to pass, difficult to score high," encouraging students to strive for excellence and increasing their motivation to learn. Each subject's teaching team considers the basic requirements of the curriculum to establish assignment and assessment standards, ensuring that students can build their learning confidence and engage actively.
At the same time, the curriculum includes challenging questions to encourage higher-ability students to challenge themselves and foster their higher-order thinking development.
