Hong Kong Singer-Songwriter Yan Ting's Dream Pursuit Sharing Session

Hong Kong singer-songwriter Yan Ting recently visited Maryknoll campus and held a "Dream Dialogue" with students, injecting a lot of positive energy into their lives!

Dreams Begin with Lonely Persistence Yan Ting shared that he developed his music dream while studying in Singapore. He actively self-taught music, worked hard, and did not fear failure, eventually realizing his dream of becoming a singer. He encouraged students by saying, "Pursuing dreams is very, very, very difficult, and you often feel lonely in the process, but you must believe in yourself."

"Three Stages of Seeing a Mountain" Philosophy Class He interpreted life philosophy from a unique perspective: "Seeing a mountain as a mountain → Seeing a mountain not as a mountain → Seeing a mountain still as a mountain" He encouraged students to think beyond appearances and understand the essence: "Dreams are not impulsive; they are about seeing reality clearly and still choosing to love it."

Our students actively asked questions and exchanged insights on pursuing dreams with Yan Ting. He mentioned that personal talent is not the most important thing and encouraged students to keep trying, maintain self-discipline, and persist to the end.

At the end of the sharing session, Yan Ting performed two songs, "Farewell Moment" and "Three Lives of Luck," bringing the session to a perfect conclusion.
