The school offers various educational scholarships to encourage students who excel in academics, character, and extracurricular activities. These include the "School Encouragement Award Fund ," "Fr. Trube Memorial Fund," "Maryknoll Scholarship," "Parent-Teacher Association Scholarship," "Fong Wai Kit Memorial Fund," "Scholarships established by individual donations," and external scholarships, with annual funding exceeding HK$100,000 to support outstanding student performance. To date, the total amount of scholarships awarded has surpassed HK$3 million.
In the past, these scholarships have motivated many students to strive for excellence. It is indeed crucial to have generous support to ensure the long-term operation of the scholarships. We welcome contributions from all friendly parties to the scholarship fund, encouraging students to become well-rounded individuals and to express their gratitude to their alma mater. Scholarships are awarded annually at the "Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony," "Graduation Ceremony," or "Completion Ceremony."
We believes that knowledge changes destinies; only knowledge can help the grassroots break free from poverty. Education is a fundamental right for every child, regardless of gender or learning ability; everyone has the right to an education. We also believes that every child is unique, and through tailored education, they can discern right from wrong and seek truth, leading to self-improvement. In line with the Maryknoll philosophy, our school established the Maryknoll Scholarship to encourage students who excel in academics, conduct, and extracurricular activities, guiding them to become "compassionate and diligent" members of the Maryknoll community. Scholarships will be awarded at the Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony, Graduation Ceremony, or Completion Ceremony.
The School Encouragement Award Fund was established in 1997 by alumnus Mr. Weng Li Wah, with the purpose of encouraging students who achieve outstanding results in public examinations through scholarships. Mr. Weng has donated over HK$1 million to the fund to motivate students to strive for better results, establish a points reward system, sponsor weekend tutoring classes, and assist students in financial difficulty. His charitable acts are commendable. The Education Reward Fund has been operating for over 25 years, encouraging and recognizing generations of students who achieve outstanding results in public examinations. We hope alumni will continue to pass on this legacy by giving back to their alma mater and donating to The School Encouragement Award Fund, enabling future students to benefit even more. Scholarships will be awarded at the annual "Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony."
we believes that every child is unique. As long as a child can find their interests, master effective learning methods, and be in an ideal learning environment, each child can realize their potential and achieve success in life. If alumni wish to encourage students excelling in specific subjects or activities, they are welcome to establish scholarships named after themselves. Scholarships will be awarded at the Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony, Graduation Ceremony, or Completion Ceremony.
