Second-time Qualification for the Hong Kong Volunteer Award – Jockey Club Outstanding Caring School Award

This year, our school is once again shortlisted for the finals of the Hong Kong Volunteer Award – Jockey Club Outstanding Caring School Award. Our teacher and students representatives have attended the award presentation ceremony cum forum, giving a sharing on how they used creative technology to solve community issues.

This year’s Hong Kong Volunteer Award has “Innovation, New Era of Volunteering” as the theme, aiming to encourage teenagers’ creative solutions as their response to the needs of people in need. In recent years, our school has actively collaborated with professionals from different sectors on cross-disciplinary service-learning programmes. These activities give students the opportunities to apply creativity, STEAM, design thinking and humanities knowledge in real-world contexts, hence develop products and provide services. With classroom learning transformed into practical community service, true connection with the world is made.

Let us encourage our students to continue putting creativity in use, being courageous in serving others and working together to build and innovate for our community!
