Self-directed learning

Actively Promoting E-Learning across the curriculum to Cultivate Lifelong Learners

Our school has implemented a "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) policy for several years, and currently, every student possesses a personal iPad for learning purposes. We actively provide systematic training to help students effectively utilize their iPads, fostering good learning habits and empowering them to take charge of their education in preparation for future academic and career needs.

Teachers regularly incorporate iPads and various educational programs in the classroom to enhance learning effectiveness. This not only makes lessons more diverse and engaging for students but also assists them in creating organized and enriched electronic learning notes.

Additionally, we will promote "Information Literacy Education" across both subjects and activities, developing students' ability and attitude toward using online information. This cultivation of information literacy will be integrated into various subject curricula, guiding students to think critically during regular lessons. We will also host different activities after school to instill good online ethics, helping students become responsible citizens and lifelong learners.

Furthermore, at the junior secondary level, we implement "Interdisciplinary Project-Based Learning," where students apply knowledge from various subjects in their projects. This approach nurtures their spirit of inquiry and enhances essential skills such as communication, analysis, innovation, and problem-solving, aligning with advanced thinking skills required in senior secondary education.
