Our school held the AFS Lunar New Year Exchange Activity, where AFS students from around the world celebrated the Lunar New Year together and experienced traditional cultural customs.
Students learned and exchanged New Year greetings in Cantonese and English, such as "Gong Hei Fat Choy" and "Good Health," creating a warm and lively atmosphere. Additionally, everyone experienced the "Red Packet" tradition, which the AFS students found novel and interesting. They interacted and exchanged with our school students, filling the event with laughter. Finally, students from different countries shared their own New Year customs, providing everyone with a deeper understanding of cultures from around the world.
Through these activities, students not only improved their English communication skills but also developed an international perspective, enhancing their respect and tolerance for different cultures. We look forward to organizing more exciting international exchange activities in the future, allowing students to learn and grow through interaction!
